In 2010, I had good union health insurance. Obamacare was the law of the land. In November that yr my 1yo son was struck by a careless driver in a crosswalk. After two surgeries and a night in intensive care, he died.
What truly makes our country great is its diversity. I’ve seen that beauty in so many ways over the years. Whether we are born here or seek refuge here, there’s a place for us all. We must remember it’s not my America or your America. It’s our America.
Also, I grew up watching and loving romcoms (and still love and watch them). It means so much to see faces in a romcom that look more like me. It may not seem like a big deal to some, but for me, it makes me feel seen and able to be more myself.

@technicalgeekry I use VSCode (it's free!) and you can add extensions like Beautify or Prettier to format your code for you and keep it clean. No books to recommend, but working with/seeing others' code/ has helped me find cleaner, simpler ways to write my code.
