@DillonIG@Griffis_25@alex_kirshner Lastly, if the snap is imminent, why is nix and the punter moving? The argument is weak, and bama had 11 seconds to run the corner 5 yards off the field. Have a nice day.
@DillonIG@Griffis_25@alex_kirshner Was Auburn going to snap with that much time left? The refs are to be aware of the game situation also. I'd the play clock was at 27 would you say the snap is imminent? What about 3? Your theory implies that a snap is always imminent.
@Griffis_25@alex_kirshner You do not understand football. Also, since you want to go back and look at the game, Alabama was given 2 seconds by the ump to sub. So 2 seconds from the opposite of the field? There will be another rule change because this was wrong. I have officiated and coached, I get it.
@Griffis_25@alex_kirshner Snap was not imminent. 11 seconds on the play clock. Are you saying Auburn was about to snap the ball with the punter in motion? No. Don't go there. Would bama drive the field? Who knows, but that was a premature flag, period.
@Griffis_25@TigersBrain27@alex_kirshner The rule says that they have to break the huddle. Bama didn't huddle, their is a rule on that. If Auburn were to snap it, then there is a penalty. It was a blown call. The refs should have left the play alone until the snap.
