@krzyzanowskim@badlogicgames I swear there was a week or two there this winter when they consistently exceeded my expectations. Hedonic treadmill, probably.
@chriswallace@mcuban Yeah, I tried this out yesterday, and it feels like they're trying to target the 80% case of casual financial information. The CreditKarma crowd, not the YNAB crowd. It quickly becomes unwieldy for non-trivial use cases.
@krzyzanowskim What’s your list of pi extensions? I tried pi with GPT 5.5 and minimal extensions and it was much worse at coding than Claude Code and Codex. Nicer UX at times though.
@scavenger869@junthekey What "special tune" are you talking about? Been getting into Pi the last few days, but AFAIK Pi just uses the same prompt for all models.
@douglascamata This happened to me 3 hours ago. Still showing the PR as not merged. I think in going to manually close the PR so it still shows the diff for future readers, rather than merge master into it and merging it, but the diff shows empty.
@douglascamata@github It looks like there was a correctness issue with merging PRs about 3 hours ago. PRs still showing as unmerged but merge commit appears in main. Only ways to resolve: mark PR as closed without merging, or merge anyway but get an empty commit in main.

@jess_ann_pin …without the man feeling threatened by leadership qualities in other women, or even in his own partner.
And even following women.
Isn’t it strange to assume that one should treat all people of the gender of one’s spouse the same? We all have individual strengths and weaknesses
@jess_ann_pin A good leader knows how to follow. They are not threaded by leadership in other people.
It seems totally possible for men and women in a relationship to have a leadership-follower dynamic (since that seems to be what a lot of people look for), without…
It’s not your fault, it’s your writing teacher’s. The ugly truth: it’s not just you. LLMs are new, impactful, and ubiquitous. But here’s the thing—you can do something about it. The solution? Think before prompting. Take breaks. Connect with humans. This is your wake up call.
I am cringing so hard at the sheer level of LLM-written slop that passes for authentic content on X.
Seems to have spiked in the last few weeks to over 50% of what the algorithm recommends.
@Aella_Girl The problem is this interpretation is in constant tension with the imagery meant to communicate it. Heaven, hell, Christ, the trinity. Christians don’t think these are only metaphors pointing to a deeper truth.
@Aella_Girl There is a way to interpret Christianity to make sense, with strong backing from the Magisterium. There is virtue and vice. Virtue makes suffering bearable, even joyful. Vice makes pleasure unbearable, even tortuous. Virtue means aligning with the rhythm of existence.
@gagabpink I mean I liked it, but she was definitely a bit pitchy. Also I wish she had spent a bit more time practicing her dance, she looked a bit spazzy. A lot of white women do when dancing Latin music, but this was the Super Bowl!
