Russia is falling behind on its plan to recruit 409,000 troops in 2026.
Only 195,000 contracts have been signed by July, while battlefield losses continue to outpace recruitment and Moscow increasingly targets poorer regions, migrants and students to replenish its ranks.

Russia's oil refining just fell to 3.9 million barrels a day—the lowest since March 2005.
Moscow classified the statistics, so analysts counted from space: satellites over oil fields, real-time cargo flows.
The cause: about 50 Ukrainian strikes in 100 days, hitting at least 24 of Russia's 34 large refineries.
The result: diesel exports banned, rationing by license plate, and over 17,000 Yandex searches for "how to make gasoline."

🇨🇳 China is preparing for a Russia without Putin and establishing ties with future centers of influence, - WSJ.
Meanwhile, Chinese espionage and recruitment of officials are increasingly being uncovered in Russia, but the authorities are trying to keep this under wraps to avoid damaging relations with Beijing.
Ukraine’s special forces (cooperating with Russian resistance group "Black Spark") just hit the Gazprom-owned Neftehim Salavat refinery—1,500 km deep inside Russia. 🎯🔥
This was the last major undamaged gasoline producer left on the Russian map in 2026.
By knocking out 11,000 tons of fuel daily (5% of Russia's total domestic demand), economists say the situation is officially shifting from "crisis" to "catastrophe."
There are literally no major oil refineries left unscathed in Russia. At this rate, the Kremlin might want to start looking into tactical horse-drawn carriages. 🐴⛽️ #Ukraine #Russia #EnergyCrisis
❗️Zelenskyy urges partners to prepare 300 Patriot missiles for winter.
At the meeting of the “Coalition of the Willing,” the President stated that Ukraine needs 100 missiles per month for air defense to protect the country in winter. According to him, a strong winter air defense package will reduce Russia’s incentive to drag out the war.
No, these aren't Ukraine's naval attack drones. This is a Ukraine-style assault by US forces "using multiple one-way attack surface drones" that CENTCOM says "struck a submarine and ship maintenance facility in Iran."
"Three Corsair unmanned surface vessels hit the port at Bandar Abbas Naval Base, marking the first time American forces have employed sea drones in combat operations."

🇺🇸 Rubio published an op-ed today announcing the U.S. "will dismantle the ICC — brick by brick, if necessary."
The toolkit: travel bans, visa revocations, sanctions on ICC officials, and pressure campaigns on other countries to walk away from the court.
The ICC was built to prosecute genocide and war crimes. Washington's message: not us, not our allies, not anymore.

‼️‼️🇫🇷🇺🇦 BIG | In a monumental geopolitical shift, French President Emmanuel Macron has officially confirmed that Ukraine has secured domestic manufacturing licenses for three of France's most advanced military assets: Aster-30 anti-ballistic missiles, AASM Hammer 250kg precision-guided bombs, and SCALP long-range cruise missiles. This strategic authorization marks a major turning point, allowing Kyiv to bypass foreign supply bottlenecks and directly localize the mass production of high-tech, deep-strike, and air defense weapons on Ukrainian soil.
Further cementing this long-term defense partnership, Macron announced that Ukraine will integrate French-made Rafale fighter jets into its air force, with deliveries officially scheduled for the 2028–2029 timeframe. The acquisition of these cutting-edge, multi-role combat aircraft will fundamentally overhaul Ukraine’s aerial warfare capabilities and ensure a permanent, westernized deterrence posture against future aggression.
This unprecedented level of technology transfer represents a profound evolution in European military support, signaling that Western allies are no longer just donating stockpiles, but are actively transforming Ukraine into an independent, highly advanced military-industrial powerhouse capable of securing its own skies.

Liberated: Ternove, Zaporizke, Novoheorhiivka, Vorone, Sichnevе, Maliivka.
How it happened:
Dozens of assault groups launched simultaneously from the Velykomykhailivka area. Continuous air support around the clock. Systematic destruction of enemy positions along all axes of advance. Targeted elimination of Russian drone operators throughout the operation.
Russia's 120th Marine Division — the defending force — took critical losses.
A key logistics hub at Temyrivka village — through which a major Russian supply route runs — was struck and brought under Ukrainian fire control. Russia's 656th Motorised Rifle Regiment's personnel concentration point there was destroyed.
Ukraine has extended its drone strike range deeper into occupied territory and taken fire control over Russian logistics routes in the sector.
