@DimitrisSoudas Oh yes? You have proof of that Demitris? or maybe it's only an emotional response? 🤔 You're a very smart guy, you can bring better arguments than falling for this one.
@jkenney Worth remembering: if a winning referendum ever happened, Mitch Sylvester and friends don't get to negotiate anything. That's between elected governments. What you and separatist leaders are describing right now is speculation, not policy. But you already know that, right?
@jengerson Saying that Alberta independence is stupid is very childish. Like anything else, it's an idea. You might argue it's a bad idea, and that's fine, but stop with the fear mongering, bring arguments that will make people excited to stay. That's the challenge for Federalists.
@WSOnlineNews@CoryBMorgan Sure, but the October referendum is about whether Albertans want a future referendum on independence or not. I don’t think the Clarity Act applies at this stage.
Correct me if I’m wrong.
Keith Wilson's full interview with Rosemary Barton "In his speech he talked about, well, the pipeline will only go ahead if there's significant financial benefits to British Columbia That's a new condition, and he's given vetoes."
"So most of us here in Alberta that are paying attention to this do not believe there will be a pipeline."@ikwilson
@KeithWi88995734@JeffreyRWRath Not really, I actually signed the petition and will vote yes to a referendum on Alberta's independence, but I'm a Conservative first.
@peepeeLEpuke If we’re going to cite an article, let’s stick to what it actually says... this is about the development risk of one specific project (approvals, timelines, federal regulatory uncertainty), not a blanket statement about Alberta as a whole or about @ABDanielleSmith
@truckdriverpleb@lifewitsonduren Moved from Quebec to Alberta (Calgary) 3 years ago... Best move ever. I will NEVER move back to Quebec, I'll tell you that much.
@KeithPlant4@truckdriverpleb@lifewitsonduren Traffic in Calgary? Are you serious? I moved from Montreal to Calgary 3 years ago, compared to Montreal, Calgary has no traffic problems, not even close.
