NEWS: According to multiple reports, Rodney Childers and Spire Motorsports have parted ways after just nine races. Childers was the crew chief on the No.7 Chevy driven by Justin Haley.

No word on where Childers is headed.

NEWS: Progressive Insurance will sponsor Denny Hamlin in 18 of the remaining 31 races in the NASCAR Cup Series season. Hamlin will debut the car this weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
