The @IMFNews is right to demand tight rules: stablecoins pose a major global security risk.
Hype about ‘faster payments’ ignores how rogue nations and cartels use these borderless digital assets to evade sanctions and sabotage U.S. leadership.
🔥 INSIGHT: The IMF say that stablecoins could make cross-border payments faster and cheaper.
But they argue that it requires stronger regulation, foreign-exchange buffers, and fiscal discipline.
The Clarity Act benefits crypto companies, not the American people. Americans aren’t fooled: 65% don’t trust crypto, and 68% aren’t open to owning it. It sounds nice on paper, but without real consumer protections, Clarity only helps people like @brian_armstrong .
The President very astutely recognized there are millions of Americans who felt disenfranchised by the prior Administration’s attack on crypto.
It’s time to get the Clarity Act, which will protect consumers, over the finish line. There is something in it for everyone: banks, law enforcement, crypto companies, and most importantly the American people.
Clear rules must come with clear consumer protections. Without them, Main Street will continue to be the exit strategy for crypto insiders. That’s not a path to financial relief—it’s a rigged game that leaves everyday families to bear the brunt of devastating losses.
NEW from @standwithcrypto’s Iowa chapter president Hunter Williams: Crypto can help ease affordability pressures by making financial services better, faster, and cheaper for Iowans.
But that promise won’t become reality without clear rules.
“Congress must pass the Clarity Act” to bring crypto’s benefits to Main Street.
A security breach forcing a network halt shows that crypto platforms lack the basic guardrails of modern financial institutions. In this high-risk environment, transactions are irreversible by design, leaving hacked victims with limited recourse.
🚨 LATEST: Crypto(.)com CEO Kris Marszalek confirms a security breach on Cronos lending protocol Tectonic, with Crypto(.)com assisting the investigation.
The Cronos Network has since been halted as a precaution.
Bold claims for a technology primarily used to evade existing regulations and consumer protections. Blockchains aren’t enabling a new era of finance—they are enabling a playground for bad actors to manipulate markets and extract wealth at everyday families’ expense.
Apple didn’t predict Uber, TikTok, or Coinbase. But the iPhone enabled an entirely new wave of companies.
Tokenized assets on blockchains will be similar. We already know the immediate benefits (global access, better utility, 24/7 trading), but a new set of finance companies we can't imagine will be built on top.
The Clarity Act might benefit crypto companies and banks, but the bill falls short of protecting consumers. Rushing a framework without KYC, money transmitter rules, and token disclosures leaves families exposed to fraud.
🇺🇸 LATEST: Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong says it's time to get the Clarity Act passed, saying it benefits consumers, banks, law enforcement, and crypto companies alike.
Even crypto owners agree it’s time for a change. 72% of Americans—and 68% of current crypto owners—demand stronger regulation. We need real guardrails to stop bad actors and rogue nations from bypassing global safeguards. See the findings: https://t.co/MU4AF3FClt
Politicians who oppose a weak, loophole-ridden bill are PROTECTING families. @thinkingcrypto claiming voters will punish politicians is a joke.
65% of Americans deeply distrust crypto and 72% demand stricter regulations.
.@thinkingcrypto's Tony Edward says lawmakers who oppose the Clarity Act will pay the price in the midterms:
“There are over 50 million Americans that own crypto, and a lot of the politicians are not listening to their constituents… Those who are being lobbied by the banks to go against stablecoins and the Clarity Act — I think they’re going to get hurt in the elections.”
Nearly 70% of Americans also don’t trust crypto. Its extreme volatility and lack of safeguards create a high-risk environment driven by speculation, not real value, leading to sudden crashes that can wipe out life savings.
80% of Americans admit we're in a retirement crisis.
73% say inflation is actively driving their retirement anxiety.
Yet according to a new national survey by the National Institute on Retirement Security (NIRS), 77% still view cryptocurrency in workplace retirement plans as risky.
Yes, not all crypto can fund your retirement. Yes, a lot will go to zero. But I'd rather take my chances with crypto blue chips like Bitcoin.
At least the risk-reward is there, unlike money in the bank, which is 100% guaranteed to rob you of your purchasing power.

It’s hard to see how a bill that actively undermines law enforcement could strengthen national security. Bypassing core guardrails like KYC and money transmitter rules means Clarity can’t stop rogue nations from using crypto to bypass sanctions and fund threat programs.
CLARITY Act Moves Into National Security Spotlight
Former Defense Secretary Mark Esper is urging Congress to treat crypto regulation as a national security issue.
Esper says the CLARITY Act could strengthen US efforts against crypto related threats.
The bill would give the CFTC authority over digital commodities. It would also expand Treasury powers against foreign financial networks.
The Senate is preparing for a procedural vote on September 15.
Even if this was true, it shouldn’t distract us from Clarity’s massive flaws. Without proper guardrails like KYC, token disclosures, and money transmitter rules, the only “Clarity” this bill establishes is for criminals, con artists, and thieves.
🚨RUMORS: 🇺🇸 The US Senate has already PASSED the Crypto Clarity Act behind the scenes and will OFFICIALLY pass it on SEPTEMBER 15 for the public.
IT‘S COMING! 🔥
Hype about “sovereignty” is a dangerous trap. Self-custody really means ultimate vulnerability. Because crypto transactions are irreversible by design, if you are scammed, you have limited countermeasures and recourse.
One scam could cost you everything.
🎥WATCH: Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong says self-custodial wallets are "the ULTIMATE sovereignty."
Q: You can't get debanked from crypto right?
"Many people including the president himself and his kids got debanked in the United States.”
"If you have a self-custodial wallet, that is kind of the ultimate sovereignty"
"If you have a phone and internet connection anywhere in the world, you can get access to this and have assets in a way that is truly property rights, like nobody can take it from you.”
Fed speech hype shows crypto is driven by hollow speculation, not real value.
81% of Americans agree that a lack of transparency makes it impossible to know why crypto prices rise or fall. This extreme volatility is an unacceptable, high-risk environment.
🚨 TODAY IS A BIG DAY FOR CRYPTO.
Fed Chair Kevin Warsh speaks at Jackson Hole at 10 AM ET.
Markets see a 66.3% chance of a pause and 33.7% chance of a rate hike in September.
Two scenarios:
• If Warsh sounds dovish, we pump.
• If he sounds hawkish, we dump.
Expect volatility.
81% of Americans agree: crypto is easily manipulated by a small group of insiders. It’s an imbalanced system where the elite extract wealth while everyday people pay the price. See the findings: https://t.co/MU4AF3Gab1
Devastating financial ruin wasn’t “just a lesson” for FTX’s victims. Crypto preys on novice investors to enrich its insiders, functioning like a Ponzi scheme where ordinary families are left behind to bear the losses. The only “lesson” here for winning this game is not to play.
Crypto is not for everyone
Most don’t have the mental capacity to deal with the swings here
I hit my lowest point in life end of last year after 10/10
My health was trash, several addictions, had just broken up with my girl, lost millions - thought about giving up..
Yet here we are again thriving on my way to ATHs in every aspect of life
The reality is most in my position would of given up, for me it’s just another lesson.
Yet more evidence that crypto is a major national security risk. Its built-in anonymity lowers the bar for money laundering, helping drug cartels and rogue actors evade traditional law enforcement and sabotage security on a global scale. Accountability is overdue.
🚨NEW: US and Cambodian authorities say they uncovered a network allegedly laundering crypto for Mexico’s Sinaloa Cartel. The investigation follows a US seizure of about $7 million in crypto linked to the group.
