Here's why:

They built economies that only worked if new people kept arriving.

Think about it.

The entire value proposition was:
✅ Buy an NFT and hope the floor price goes up.
✅ Play a game and extract rewards before someone else does.
✅ Stake a token and hope emissions outpace the sellers.

Eventually, the music stops.
