@mailolstar We shouldn’t be surprised by the lack of concern from the over 65s. They have only c20yrs left on the planet so won’t see 2050, so a larger no. of that demographic could care less. While those under 40 have c45+yrs left so will experience the worst effects of Climate change 😢

@Channel103 They’re still “working” on the timetable because the French port operator has puts its Out of Office on until 2025. Why should the port operator whose ultimate owner approximates to the same owner of Britferries play ball with Jersey-endorsed DFDS? It’s an utter mess

@Marshall_VW Have you actually tested it? It’s such a poor service now! Speak to owners that are encountering the error codes, the lack of informative data like no longer getting charge/mileage data on the app as part of the standard service. P!ss poor from @VWUKPress

@RKphotographic @VW Have you seen the latest effort? It just gets worse for VW and its technology. The ID series had a shocking start and terrible reviews. They have made some effort to improve that, but the “new” app is a massive backward step and will p!ss off lots of VW owners @thetimes

@Tom2travel @UKVolkswagen Agreed. The “new” version is absolute dogshit, and the cost £129/yr a joke for basic functionality like knowing the charge status of your EV. @VW sort it out 😡 This is a tax on loyal VW owners. I shan’t be renewing either. @WhichUK @VWOwnersforum

@tombrossman And what did the Chef de Police say when asked by the @JEPnews who highlighted that Jersey suffers twice the road dangers that the UK faces? I’m sure our parish officials were very transparent in their business, explaining the rationale for not progressing with an investigation.

@tombrossman @JerseyPolice Can we do an FOI for the name of the centenier? Ultimately it falls to Danny Scaife as Chef de Police for the parish to provide a response, so I assume it was his decision not to undertake any investigation against what is clearly driving which falls below the legal requirements

@JEPnews Imagine the govt announcing “we are reallocating £57mn from child care to provide Type2 diabetes + treatment for obesity” because this is what they are doing, but in reverse. If the money isn’t spent on preventable issues it could go to childcare, education, investment in Jsy

@JEPnews 20% of the total heath care budget! Stop treating the symptoms and stop the issues arising in the first place. In fact stop funding poor choices. Stop all free Type2 diabetes treatments unless exceptional circumstances from 2030 onwards. Allow us to fund better child and OAP care

No doubt trying to figure out how they schedule boats into St Malo when Condor and BritFerries already have blocked out all the best docking times, and those times left don’t align with Jersey’s shallow harbour.
