First week at @contra down! It’s been a rollercoaster, but I hit the ground running and already submitted a few pull requests! Thanks again to @leonnoel @indieghst @RealRascalTwo @guilh and many others for helping me get here! Y’all changed my life w/ programming! 😭

[James Crosslin @theDabolical]

We've been working with some of our favorite companies to create more expert programs for you all, since we got such good feedback on our Framer partnership!

Today is the official kickoff of our @relume_io 🤝 Contra Expert OS partnership!

[Adam Mura @AdamMura]

Love what @contra is doing for the freelance community 🙌

Stoked about this partnership as I believe it'll bring more opportunities to those who use @relume_io products

1/8 🧵 Want to learn how AI can streamline your coding process? I've just wrapped up a big project where I leveraged #ChatGPT to refactor a codebase and the results are promising! 🚀

@framer is breaking the internet.

I’ve been a user and fan since 2020, when we were prototyping the early versions of @contra.

Can't believe I get to say this, but today, @framer is launching their new expert network, powered by @contra

Want to become a framer expert? ->

Yesterday we launched some pretty massive features 🚀

Our team has been hustling the past few weeks to improve our freelance tools!

We listened to what you asked for, and we’re happy to announce we now have… 👇

[DANN© @DannPetty]

Freelancers!

A new product for you just launched. My friends @contra, a commission-free marketplace, just launched portfolios.

Why this is a big deal? Imagine having your portfolio connected to your contracts, invoicing, payments, messaging—all in one. That's Contra.

[ben @contraben]

Everything changed in 2020..

The entire world learned that remote work was possible, all at once.

But, things are coming back to normal, and we now have:

those who embrace the new way

vs

those who want to go back to the 'old way'

@contra we build tools for whats coming next

@tanoaksam It was probably XHR objects for me, then Promises were a real low point. I felt like I didn’t know anything!

@tanoaksam Is it to prop up global capital that is sustained by resource theft and slavery?

@MrEE_Man @bad_takes This is also not how jobs work. If you have really shitty views that you can’t keep to yourself and that make people not want to work with you, you can lose your job.

[James Crosslin @theDabolical]

@JustHum59386534 Hey Lena, thanks for sharing that you’re dealing with depression. You’re right that a strong support system is super important. Hope you’re doing okay today!

[James Crosslin @theDabolical]

I don't usually share things like this on social media, but I feel there's some value to others who are going through similar situations.
