A Year of Lessons: 2024

Through valleys dark, where shadows stay,
I wandered lost, by night and day.
The weight of sorrow pressed me low,
Yet seeds of wisdom began to grow.

In storms of doubt, I raised my plea,
"Why must this pain come unto me?"
But God, in whispers, made it clear,
"Through trials, my love draws near."

2024, a crucible of fire,
Burning away the world’s desire.
Mentally worn, emotionally torn,
Yet in the ashes, faith was born.

Each tear became a sacred stream,
A mirror of a deeper dream.
Each hurt, a lesson, sharp and true,
To shape the soul, to make it new.

Though the year was heavy, hard, and long,
I found my spirit growing strong.
For even in the lowest place,
God's hand upheld me with His grace.
