More @TheJusticeDept appointees at all levels — PASs, PAs, noncareer SESs, Schedule Cs, and career — should be lawfare survivors.

If more had the scars of enduring and surviving that life altering trauma, perhaps @realDonaldTrump/@POTUS’s directives in his March 14, 2025 speech to DOJ staff will be fulfilled.

Perhaps promises made over the course of three years will at long last be kept.

Perhaps remediation for lawfare victims and accountability for lawfare perpetrators will come to fruition.

@realDonaldTrump, be advised your attorneys, fundraisers, associates & allies who became lawfare victims have NOT yet been asked to identify the @FBI agents whose misconduct you directed @TheJusticeDept to investigate.

The “total scum” — hundreds (possibly 1k+) — won’t be removed from the DOJ payroll, much less investigated by @CivilRights for potential prosecution, unless and until all of the lawfare victims are (1) ascertained and (2) invited to identify their lawfare perpetrators.

I recommend you authorize & empower a specific @WhiteHouse employee or @POTUS appointee at DOJ to create “the official weaponization list” that identifies victims for remediation & perpetrators for accountability.

P.S. The FBI agents in Milwaukee & Brooklyn who fabricated novel political speech prosecutions of @realMAGAmartyr and @douglassmackey are STILL on DOJ’s payroll.

The civil defamation laws in the UK might be the only part of contemporary English jurisprudence worthy of replication, at least to restore the pre-NYT v Sullivan status quo ante.

I wish more people, especially FBI agents, AUSAs, and federal magistrate judges, were less inclined to believe whatever they watch, hear, and read in the legacy media.

Lies ruin lives. Especially when DOJ uses a quarter century old false and defamatory “news” story as a predicate to spy on @realDonaldTrump’s fundraisers’ email accounts and clients’ donor lists …

and launches a fishing expedition that leads to coercing a target to make a false confession to a non-crime (indeed protected speech no less) …

that leads to wrongful incarceration and near bankruptcy …

that leads to a multi-year, multi-million dollar quest to find a DOJ component willing and able to undo a manifest injustice.

When I worked for Brent Bozell at the Media Research Center in the Clinton era, I never imagined the media bias we identified and revealed could actually put innocent people in prison, at least when compounded by a weaponized DOJ.

And even average ordinary Americans: why would the cops lie? I mean, they take it on faith. Why would a prosecutor lie? Why would a prosecutor say somebody’s guilty if they’re not. They don’t have time to waste on this. There are too many guilty people to go get. They wouldn’t waste time on the innocent. …

The innocent in Wisconsin were guilty because they were conservative. … The Left in Wisconsin was losing everything … they literally lashed out – in panic, anger, and you name it – to punish people who had ... raised money for him …

Thank you for noticing & addressing that growing misapprehension.

To increase the likelihood your welcome assurance inspires widespread confidence, might I suggest the @CivilRights Division contact apparent weaponization victims to gather evidence of which FBI agents & Asst. U.S. Attorneys engaged in misconduct so egregious that it warrants investigation for potential “conspiracy against” or “deprivation of” rights charges?

Even those investigations that don’t result in prosecutions will further the interests of justice. That’s because they will equip DOJ leadership to evaluate the propriety of adverse personnel actions (for wrongdoers) and appropriate resolution of meritorious claims under the FTCA (for those wronged).

Whether circumstance or happenstance, the fact that no DOJ component undertook that affirmative outreach in 2025 contributed to the (possibly unjustified?) perception that the (possibly understaffed?) WWG was compelled to prioritize its review of clemency petitions at the expense of pursuing accountability (e.g., removal) for weaponization perpetrators and remediation for weaponization victims (e.g., Rule 48 relief).

IMHO, the formulation and dissemination of more guidance would be helpful. E.g., should credibly professed victims of civil rights crimes (and perhaps their counsels or advocates) submit formal requests for criminal investigation to the CRD, the FBI field office(s), or both?
