@Cudi_wBG 😂😂
dem suppose chop pankere
but do we blame them? there are many desperate people that’ll still go for it despite the low pay
amen.
thanks dear
got another internship offer for a social media manager role
and i keep wondering why my cv attracts more internships than actual jobs.
in the past month alone i have had several virtual and physical interviews.
some did not work out because the pay was way too small for what they wanted.
but for others, i made it to the final stages, about five roles, only to either get silence or a rejection after.
i know there is nothing wrong with my cv. it is clearly doing its job.
but i also know i need to keep building so i can attract the right clients.
not the ones who think paying peanuts for a social media manager is some kind of favour,
and not the ones who promise a final interview just to disappear after.
i just got a 3-month social media manager internship role at an international company.
and i'm excited 🥹
not just because of the role
but because of what it opens up.
-a better portfolio.
-more work experience.
-recent work to show for the next opportunity i go after.
thank you Jesus.
and i wish myself luck.
my dear, start from somewhere. people relate with stories they also struggle with. and the most common of all time is job search
while you talk about it, be strategic about the keywords you use. make sure they are words people tend to search for around that topic
and you’ll start seeing views
oh i used to feel exactly like this until i stopped overthinking it and started seeing my page as a public journal. so i write my experiences as they come. without waiting for it to settle down.
but sometimes, the introvert in me still kicks in and i find myself second guessing my post. i post all the same but i don’t stay online to regret doing so. i leave it to perform as it pleases. and for posts like that, i find out i get good impressions on them.

you need a strong digital presence.
i offer you my services.
you walk away satisfied.
i walk away with my pay.
so can we stop pretending like you are doing us a favour?
it is your business that needs help.
it is you who suffers when nobody online knows what you do.
the favour goes both ways
and the sooner we are honest about that,
the better these conversations will go.
