Went through living hell but still somehow managed to be a beautiful soul. I hope this message finds you well. I’m a long-time admirer of your work. It’s quite amusing that I’m currently streaming “Yesterday’s Enterprise.” When I saw your post pop up 😝 While I’m not familiar with the details of your departure, this episode beautifully highlights the brilliance of Tasha Yar and how incredible she could have been. You made some brilliant Guest Star Appearances appearances afterward, but your role was truly brave and powerful for its time, as a female lead in security/tactical on the Federation flagship Starship Enterprise NCC-1701D - that’s a big deal!

I would be thrilled and truly hope to have the opportunity someday to meet you at a convention or similar event. You are fantastic, and while I adore the story of Worf in the role, I believe there was ample room for both characters. Watching this episode, “Yesterday’s Enterprise “ always leaves me feeling a bit cheated, wondering what could have been. Your acting in this episode was exceptional, almost as if it was saying, “Look at what you gave up.” Perhaps this led to your other guest star roles, which were also fantastic. I’m not entirely familiar with the reasons behind your departure, but I always felt that fans were deprived, and Tasha Yar didn’t get the chance to fully develop. Her death scene felt incomplete and not the way she deserved to leave us.

I wish you all the best and thank you for everything you do for Trek. I loved the films “Trekkies 1 and 2” and the wonderful way you shared the diverse world of Star Trek fans with kindness and no judgment. Your ongoing support over the years is greatly appreciated. A true Star Trek supporter.
