Yes I think it diverts resources. Every version needs to maintain compatibility requires updates no matter how good they are at software.
Not saying they should have taken AP away.
Morally defensible? Do they get no offsetting credit from us on the sidelines for creating it in the first place?
@dzajic@Tesla Only Tesla would know, but I would guess that maintaining a legacy feature/versions use resources and diverts focus from the direction they are moving in.
Continuing to own the car is a choice, no one is hostage. If someone doesn’t like how they do things they have a choice.
@Teslathink@Ben_Saves@NickGibbsIAG Thanks! There are some know quirks, but I will be refining it in the coming weeks, so it's more polished, better data and easier to view events.

@theonlyguess@NickGibbsIAG no offense taken, it's no secret that 'regular' people can now build things if they want.
Also, we have some community/social features in the works which is something a solo vibe-coded app would not be able to do.
@theonlyguess@NickGibbsIAG The value would be for people who don't want to do that. A lot of people don't want to mess with vscode or claudecode and are still struggling with spreadsheets, or something less desirable.
I can change my own oil, but do I really want to do it?
In May I bought 100 $BE shares @ $300/sh. Today BE is below $300, but my portfolio has increased $2450 directly from BE. 8% gain in 2mo solely due to selling options. @NickGibbsIAG can teach you how to get started.
