Yes I think it diverts resources. Every version needs to maintain compatibility requires updates no matter how good they are at software.
Not saying they should have taken AP away.
Morally defensible? Do they get no offsetting credit from us on the sidelines for creating it in the first place?

@dzajic @Tesla Only Tesla would know, but I would guess that maintaining a legacy feature/versions use resources and diverts focus from the direction they are moving in.
Continuing to own the car is a choice, no one is hostage. If someone doesn’t like how they do things they have a choice.

Also, we have some community/social features in the works which is something a solo vibe-coded app would not be able to do.
