Please try to vote, even if it's raining.
While they are shamefully dropping deep fakes of Dr. King, here is my REAL ass trying to get a better view at his going home ceremony. You may try to take away our history classes and change the textbooks. But our history is beyond your reach. We lived it and we will tell it.
Regarding the election: Jim Henson's Muppet characters were of all different species & sizes & shapes & colors. They lived different lives and their personalities often clashed. Yet, they eventually accepted each other's flaws as they worked together for the good of the show.
A note for tomorrow:
ANYONE WHO IS TRICK-OR-TREATING AT FIFTEEN IS PRESUMPTIVELY CLINGING TO THE RITUALS OF CHILDHOOD AT THE MOST DISCOMBOBULATING MOMENT OF THEIR LIVES. THROW CANDY AND KINDNESS AT THEM
@EliMcCann Fwiw, those moments don’t really stop. I remember where you are now at like it was yesterday, and I just watched my 13 year old walk upstairs and turn in for the night, and that sacred feeling remains. In fact, it’s stronger, since the desire for the bond flows 2 ways now. ❤️
I was forced to ride in the back of the bus. In my lifetime. There ain't as much distance from that shit as you think. Let's keep moving forward, y'all.

I want to talk to all the guys for a second.
Think about all the women in your life that you love – daughters, wives, moms, cousins, neighbors.
This election is about their lives and protecting their freedoms.
Listening to Al Pacino’s book and he’s saying his grandma used to go to Ellis island and greet incoming immigrants who didn’t know anyone so they could feel comforted and less scared
