CM Himanta Biswa Sarma Taunts Pawan Khera After Assam Victory

Following the BJP-led NDA's landslide victory in the 2026 Assam Assembly Elections, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma taunted Congress leader Pawan Khera, stating he would feed him a lot of “peda” 🤣🤣🤣 when he is summoned to Assam.

Himanta Da sarcastically thanked Khera, claiming his press conferences actually helped the BJP by shifting votes towards them. He remarked, “When the police call Pawan Khera here, I will feed him a lot of 'peda' and thank him”.

Sarma credited Khera's actions with contributing to significant opposition losses, specifically mentioning the defeat of Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi in the Jorhat constituency.
