Please take the time today to remember the men and women that are currently serving our country around the world, the veterans that have served our country and most importantly those that have given the ultimate sacrifice to protect our freedoms that we enjoy every day.

@MichaelWX18 I love my Haix Michael. Be ready to come back out to the west side tomorrow.

Evacuations lifted for Edward Fire burning 60 acres in Orland https://t.co/HhIsXWw2sl. What I call thinking out the box. This could do well in some parts of Shasta Co. less fatigue, and they can dismount and attack on foot. I like it. @OrlandFire

[John McDermott @thedermott]

@ActionNewsNow Many thanks to our neighboring fire departments that helped us today. Artois fire, Capay fire and Willows fire. Special thanks to the Knife River crews for the heavy equipment to help contain the fire. Cal fire was not at our incident.

@CALFIRETGU Orland Volunteer Fire will greatly miss Chief Jim Allen. He was a mentor, leader and all-around great guy. We had the privilege of fighting fire side-by-side with him many times. Photo from our mutual aid fire on Christmas day 2020.

@CALFIRETGU @CAL_FIRE Orland Fire is always glad to help!

[CAL FIRE TGU/ Tehama County Fire Department @CALFIRETGU]

In the early hours of the August Complex fires, volunteer firefighters from across Glenn County responded to battle the blazes. Many thanks are owed to volunteer fire crews from Elk Creek, Glenn-Codora, Orland, Artois, and others. We are grateful for their help! @CAL_FIRE

[John McDermott @thedermott]

@CALFIRETGU @CAL_FIRE The Firefighters of Orland Volunteer Fire Department are always ready and willing to help our neighbors when they are in need of assistance. The mutual aid system worked very well to save the town of Elk Creek.
