There was a season in our marriage where I could feel my wife had stopped fighting for me.
Today I know that it was not because he didn’t love me… but because something inside her had quietly shut down 💔
Like any other man , In the beginning, I was his biggest cheerleader. I made him feel like he was enough, like he was the best thing that ever happened.
And women rise when a men believes in them — they push harder, love deeper, and try more when they feel supported.
But somewhere along the journey, marriage life changed. Stress entered. Expectations grew louder than appreciation😫
And without noticing, I started cheering less and correcting more…encouraging less and complaining more.
That’s when I learned the Wooha moment and a truth many husband don’t realize: 🤦🏽♀️
Most women who grew up without “warriors” — without strong fathers or male role models — learn to draw their strength from the men they love.
Their partner becomes their emotional home, their source of courage, and the voice that shapes how they see themselves.
A man is expected to be strong on his own but he will always care deeply about the opinion of the men he has invested into🤞🏽
His praise builds her
His tone guides her .
His disappointment cuts deeper than anyone else’s.
And when the one man he needs approval from becomes his harshest critic… when the voice that once lifted him now points out his weaknesses…
he doesn’t stop fighting because he doesn’t care —
he stops because he no longer has the strength to stand 🥲
The more a wife hits her man on his emotional kneecaps with constant criticism, the less he can rise to fight for the relationship.
A man who feels rejected cannot lead with confidence. A man who feels unappreciated cannot show up fully.
And a man whose spirit is broken by the woman he loves will eventually shut down.
I had to face myself and learn intimacy skills 💡
I now understand that men will always gravitate toward the woman who makes them feel enough — not because they are weak, but because every human being needs encouragement where they feel most vulnerable 😊
Marriage taught me this:
A woman’s words can awaken the warrior in her man… or silence him completely.
And a man whose spirit is wounded by the one he loves cannot fight, even if his heart wants to.
Men watch how you speak to your woman and your marriage will never be the same .
