@banterrealism@FabricioNakata Housing is artificially constrained by NIMBYs even when it's easier to produce. One could argue that certain people are happy to starve others of shelter.
@55clairem@DubCityCouncil I think people will manage and adapt as our neighbours in the UK and further afield have done for decades. This development is done to make that as easy as possible for families. Other developments in the past not so much!
@55clairem@DubCityCouncil 5 walk or 3 minute cycle to the Phoenix Park and playground, plus it has plenty of amenities on site. Not sure what more could be reasonably offered. It's way ahead of most developments!
@dats_right_ie@Default69202648 The camogie association is aligned to the gaa and holds similar outdated beliefs such as the issue with the dress code. They need to get with the times.
@JamesKavanagh_ Because supporting a rap group named after a hideous form of vigilante brutality is something that people with beautiful, kind hearts do?
one of the realest lines ever is when kramer bursts in and he’s like who wants to have some fun???? and george and jerry are like i do. and kramers like are you just saying you wanna have fun or do u REALLY wanna have fun?? and george is like im just saying i wanna have fun
@KarlBrophy@mecafolidas Maybe at the expense of pace? It's one thing to have either, entirely different to possess both. Especially within a relatively small population.
@Hazeeboy4@martynschmoll Is every road user that overtakes a slower moving vehicle in a safe and legal manner impatient then? Because that is all the cyclist did in the video. By your logic, everyone who overtakes is impatient. The only problem in the video is dangerous driving and should be addressed.
@Hazeeboy4@martynschmoll Exactly, even when cyclists abide by the highway code, it isn't enough to stop aggressive drivers from endangering their lives. Sure, the cyclist could have stayed in the cycle lane and avoided the driver but they should not have to. And drivers like that will always cause danger
@Hazeeboy4@martynschmoll It's not about being patient. The cyclist overtook another road user in textbook fashion and did literally nothing wrong. We can't keep making concessions for aggressive and impatient motorists so as not to upset them. It's their behaviour that is dangerous and wrong in this clip
