I'm hearing reports in the wider media now over the conclusion of the game at Celtic Park, being looked at from a legal perspective by the SFA.
There is a “strong possibility” the game is voided by home team malpractice which would see a default 3-0 to Hearts. More to follow...
If Hearts don’t get a result at Parkhead and Celtic get given the title it will be the most corrupt League Title in British Football History and one of the biggest ever in Europe.
All credibility for the League will be gone as it has been publicly embarrassed globally.
WOW.
✉️ @The_FOH have made a statement addressing the recent poor officiating in Scotland, that could potentially cost Hearts the title.
Let's hope VAR don't have to get involved on Saturday! 😅
We thought VAR & PGMOL were bad.
Whether the ball did hit the Motherwell player's hand or not...
They've just handed a potential title-deciding win, using one inconclusive angle and a 15 second monitor check.
Absolutely diabolical from the Scottish officials. 😅
❌ "That's not a penalty!"
😡 "That's an absolute disgrace."
🤯 "Shocking. There's no handball."
Jason Cundy was left dumbfounded by Celtic's controversial last minute penalty against Motherwell
Wow the VAR pen in the Celtic game is again. One of the worst decisions of all time. 🗑️
You don’t get that much power with your hand. It hits his forehead 💯
Again the ref did NOT give it on field. So according to law. “It’s not clear and obvious” 🗑️
Seriously that is never a handball at Fir Park. The boy headed it 20 yards. The ref takes one look after VAR calls him over. Embarrassing for Scottish football.
I’m puzzled by why only one angle of it was shown and why the referee has so quickly given that after what looks like a single viewing of the incident. It may well have hit his hand but it feels like a quick turnaround for a decision of that magnitude.
Absolutely stinks of “just give the penalty to set up the last game of the season for the title”
Ref hardly looked at it and even then it was only 1 angle😡
