We've sold $2.8 million in roofs as of today, Jan 27 2025, with a few days left in the month - a significant leap from YTD 2024's figure, just shy of $1 million. Almost 3x growth 2024 YTD 2024 vs 2025.

We did just shy of 30 million in 2024 and are gunning for 60 this year.

Here are a few key takeaways:

1. Screw what anyone else thinks. I've about 2x my business YoY since I started it in 2019. EVERY SINGLE YEAR people tell me why I wont be able to do it again. Usually there's an agenda there, but sometimes its just their negative outlook on life and business. If you have a goal, don't let others tell you what is "realistic." Remember though - don't just state a goal then loosely attempt to execute. This is NOT easy. I state it publicly to incentivize myself even more to shut the negative people up. I do whatever it takes to accomplish this goal. If i'm going to miss a goal, I will do so knowing I did everything I possibly could to accomplish it.

2. You have to set a goal and then work backwards to identify what you need to be doing DAILY to trip over that goal. Lets use marketing and lead gen for example (I've identified these KPIs all throughout my business) - I want to hit 60 million this year. I need to identify my main drivers - average ticket, close rate, booking rate, sit rate, monthly rev needed, daily rev needed, service mix,, etc. etc. to land on a specific number of appointments I need to book daily. This is the first thing I look at every morning. If I am not booking enough appointments then I am accepting defeat. As long as everything else stays constant (which I adjust for all year) I will hit my growth goal. This is well oversimplified but you get the gist.

3. Pay A players well over industry average. 1 good A player does the job of 4 B and C players. If you find an A player, and have it in the budget, bring them on - If they are truly an A they will get a return even if they dont have a perfect fit in your company day 1.

4. Networking through X has been invaluable. Meeting individuals who are several steps ahead has dramatically accelerated my learning curve.

I have never been concerned about the midterms.

The public isn’t stupid—they may be annoyed about Iran but everything else Trump has done is squarely what they voted for. He’s kept more promises than any president in their lifetime.

By contrast, the left only doubled down on the thing that still scares Americans—communism.

Just like the Dobbs ruling took the wind out of the sails of a red wave in 2022; the DSA and Mamdani have destroyed any momentum the democrats may have had.

And if they keep up the pressure they are showing, we aren’t talking about a small dem flip, but an American First red wave.

That’s why Carlson and his band of losers can afford to talk about a “third party”. Conservatives are in such firm control and will continue to be that those loser can continue being irrelevant.

OP details how Francesca Hong shot to the top of the primary polls entirely because of Republican-funded ads that were microtargeted to Democratic areas as reverse psychology: depicting Hong as the most anti-Trump candidate on the ballot, thus tricking Democrats into nominating a completely broke candidate whose policies are poison to the Wisconsin electorate. Hong trails likely GOP nominee Tom Tiffany by wide margins in every poll.

Republicans have surely been doing this in other states. People keep telling me that the DNC being broke isn't important because INDIVIDUAL CANDIDATES HAVE MONEY. Where's that money coming from? A lot of it is likely coming from Republican super PACs manipulating Democrats into backing extremist candidates. Durka Durka Sayed likely won the Michigan primary on the back of GOP ads. The Republicans likely engineered Graham Platner's rise in Maine. I'll bet they even did it in Texas, with Talarico's financial support intended to box Democrats into a corner.

I've been comparing this election to 2022 in terms of how Democrats will underperform. Maybe a better comparison is 2012, when the Republicans nominated candidates in winnable races who shat themselves right before the finish line after they said or did things that were too extreme for the electorate to handle. Todd Akin and Richard Mourdock both lost Senate races in red states that year because they wouldn't keep jawing about abortion. Well, the Democrats have nominated an entire ARMY of Todd Akins, creepy weird theater kids wrapping themselves in the hammer and sickle.

And this is why Republicans will either outright win the midterms or overperform. The Democrats have been snookered into nominating the most deranged voices in the asylum.

These two images should be iconic. They tell the story. On the left: a young woman, who had been cheerful and happy, apparently on her way to visit a sick friend or relative. On the right: a degenerate black man, angry and volatile, 14 prior arrests, wandering around the streets, rambling nonsensically, violently assaulting any white woman he comes across. The two happen to cross paths and this is the aftermath.

For years now, our laws and institutions have dedicated themselves to protecting, coddling, and indulging the person on the right, often at the immediate expense of the person on the left. It was decided that the person on the right must be free, must be comfortable, must be cared for and fed and clothed, literally no matter what the cost.

A functional society organizes itself the opposite way. The priority is protecting the person on the left — the innocent woman (or child or man). The person on the right — the chronic, degenerate, dysfunctional criminal — is rightly seen as having no value to society, a net negative, and is thrown in a cage forever or simply executed. A functional society gives all the benefit, all the leeway, all the priority, to the person on left. But we don’t live in a functional society anymore.
