Called into one of the other depts at work today. Asked the guy on the other side where he went to school (my company has a lot of OSU grads). He also went to OU. We shared a few moments of anger and memories. Born from memories was optimism. That’s what OU was all about for me.

With as much anger that has been spewed by both myself and my fellow Sooners over the last 20 hours, I am thankful for having been able to experience four incredible years in college from 2015-2019. Just a shame to see what we all thought was the Riley Dynasty end this way.

I feel like Lincoln was a friend. Every Tuesday I would go to Taco Mayo at Cate (later Fuzzy’s when Cate closed) and watch his press conferences from the weekend/Monday. The way he handled questions, answered them, and perspectives he shared…I have carried into my personal life.
