Sir Stelios checked in to Luton Airport this morning - where it all began more than 30 years ago!
The creator of the easy family of brands met board members, airline management, crew and staff of easyJet, signing autographs and copies of the easyHistory book.
He adressed scores of employees, some who have been with easyJet since the early days.
Stelios spoke of his pride in creating the brand and reminisced about the "cold rainy November day" in 1995 when the first flight took off for Glasgow. "The flight was full and I had to sit in the jump seat!" he recalled.
