@stephrenee81@RodP_Nation@aleahhhhxoxo@InsideHBCUFball Ready to learn? Based on what you just described it appears they come to class ready to sleep. It’s not hard to wake up in the morning, brush your teeth, wash your face, shower, get dressed and go to class. Nobody has banned caps. Why does is it have to be a bonnet?
Our people are struggling to understand “time and place”. This reminds me of that high school girl doing a split on the stage at graduation. There are certain things that just shouldn’t be acceptable at SCHOOL!
Ghetto Black culture is still Black culture… the long nails, the golds, the durags, the bonnets… everything that’s aesthetically “poppin” has a meaning in OUR spaces.. to continually perpetuate the narrative that “nigga shit” ain’t good enough.. signals a deep concern for me.
@RodP_Nation@aleahhhhxoxo@InsideHBCUFball I fear you might be right! Our grandparents fought for us to have equal education and job opportunities but these people are mad they’re being told not to wear sleep attire outside. I just can’t believe it.
@agamemnon1821@JorgeGomezOrtiz@pez1963@Josh_Merfeld Lol you’re constantly using “your”, instead of “you’re”, which tells me you’re a tad bit illiterate and your account is based in Australasia, which tells me you’re a liar and a fraud. Americans clearly are much brighter than you.
@agamemnon1821@JorgeGomezOrtiz@pez1963@Josh_Merfeld Your argument is moot. The fact of the matter is that other races did live in Greece. No one is saying they were treated like Greeks but some did live there. Even Greek women were treated horribly but that’s not the discussion at hand.
@stephenlwatts01@Josh_Merfeld Eh, not the greatest example. Roots is based on Alex Haley’s actual family, which of course already included white people. The Odyssey is entirely made up. Those people could technically be any color. Homer himself however, can only be Greek.
