The way I heard of byler during 2022 but avoided it for years because I could spot the unrequited love ending a mile away but y'all convinced me with the season 5 hype and I caved omg lowk fuck y'all 😭😭😭
ttmd byler just kissed
high tide byler are figuring things out
dmitmu byler are married
matador byler are dating and healing
super soaker byler are boyfriends
amnesia byler are also figuring things out
there are 38k more universes where they’re in love
I’ve read so many amazing fics lately but truly I cannot stop thinking about Smalltown Queer. it should have 10 million hits. move it to the top of your tbr NOW. send tweet
if you are picky about what you read, you can rely on fics that have extensive descriptive metadata just fine. But that's about discovery; the author is not required to tag beyond what they feel will direct readers to their work
my fanfic hot take is that as long as "Creator Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings" is chosen, authors are not actually required to tag anything. Tagging is a discoverability feature, not a content descriptor
