[NHS Million @NHSMillion]

This is what NHS staff woke up to this morning. A rally talking about hanging doctors and nurses. This has caused considerable distress amongst NHS staff.

If you’re still behind NHS staff please tweet with the hashtag #gotyourbackNHS.

Let’s show staff they are appreciated 🙏🏻

@pwharris In terms of teaching it made me question why we teach students to multiply and divide via the “what you do to one number, you must do to the other” approach...but don’t approach addition and subtraction in the same manner. Especially for decimals.

[Ela Hancer @theelahancer]

@pwharris When I look at the problem, I instantly write mental brackets on top of the numbers on the left (i.e. +0.1), because of the relationship between 6.9 and 7. This means that the blank is 8.3.

There’s nothing to misinterpret here. Saying “Not every man has willpower” means that not every man wants to control their thoughts and actions. If thieves and murderers can’t get away with that ‘excuse’, why is it ok for rapists?

[The New York Times @nytimes]

Prime Minister Imran Khan of Pakistan blamed a rise in rape cases on how women dressed. "Not every man has willpower. If you keep on increasing vulgarity, it will have consequences,” he said. https://t.co/0yYNkWYofj

Currently in Carrefour completing my shopping. There are two thugs in the fruit and nut department, dressed as cute little sparrows, flying down from the ceiling when they think that nobody is looking and helping themselves to nuts. #supermarketconcepts #birdsofprey

As a kid I used to get lost in the rows of bookcases @ExclusiveBooks and never wanted to leave. My parents even have pictorial evidence. Ten years down the line, I’m revisiting a Cape Town branch as an adult and so thrilled to finally get my hands on @joboaler ‘s #LimitlessMind
