@ChristaBrown777 @kristenmcknight I have the tile "worship leader" at an SBC church. It takes everything in me to not want to leave because at some point the larger voices would say and already say, I shouldn't be doing this.
One day, I believe it will be reflected in their statement also. I feel so lost.

@BaptistBlogger Would it be a good time to mention I lead worship also and therefore, my pastor is also my boss?

@BaptistBlogger The hardest part of "practical" complementarianism is that I'm married to a naval dentist. Complementarianism just isn't plausible when my husband is deployed serving our country. What am I to do when he is on a ship and cannot communicate when I need to make informed decisions?

@PastorBenMarsh @abby_e_o I can't believe I didn't know to ask this question before I joined the staff @PointChurch_ . When we questioned the leaders, it was gaslighting city. I left by Gods grace. Ministry Watch would get involved three years later.

@abby_e_o I was induced for the 1st child and ended up having to get a CS after pushing got us nowhere! I asked for a CS for 2nd baby and I have no regrets! I was prepared for it, I didn’t have anything to grieve from a hard 1st CS. Happy to talk further if you’d like!

@DianeLangberg I’ve felt that retelling what happened at my church has been so helpful and I embrace the chance to talk about it. It helps me sit with it and walk through it verbally instead of always just mentally (which can be a lonely place).
