North wins third set 15-13 to sweep the match. @lauren_paska of @LapelVB only played the 2nd set, but was very productive: 5 kills (one error), 1 ace, 5 digs, 5 service receptions, and a 5-point service run. @thbsports
Dear Republicans,
Would you please just stop with your “abortion tourism/vacation abortion” bullshit.
No woman on the planet wakes up in the morning hoping she will need to have an abortion.
You have made it so that women in states like Texas and Alabama have no choice but to TRAVEL to seek reproductive care.
It’s not a fucking vacation. No doctor in Oregon is waiting for a woman stationed at Ft. Hood with a Piña colada and motherfucking lei because she had to take time off from work & spend money she didn’t have to travel thousands of miles for a medical procedure she used to have a legal right to in her own state.
And since you’re the same gaslighting twats who called January 6th a “tourist visit”, when it obviously was not, maybe you should spend less time banning books and more time reading them, particularly the dictionary, because clearly your understanding of basic vocabulary f’ng sucks.

Tryouts for club Volleyball should not be allowed to occur until at least October. Having summer tryouts is one of the worst decisions for our sport's culture. Policies need to be made by @usavolleyball and @jrvbassociation to fix this.
"I just went to buy a Samsung washer and dryer from a guy, and he was asking $500.
I told him I just had a kid and if he could take $400, I’d be really grateful.
I got home, hooked everything up, and everything worked great.
I opened up the dryer to check the lint filter and I was shocked my $400 was sitting in there.
I got a message from him saying, “Check the dryer. A gift for the new baby.”
Man, words can't describe how grateful I am right now.
🥺
I feel so blessed; I felt I had to share. Big shout out to David! Thank you so much!"

This 92-year-old, petite, well-poised and proud lady, who is fully dressed each morning by eight o’clock, with her hair fashionably coiffed and makeup perfectly applied, even though she is legally blind, moved to a nursing home yesterday. Her husband of 70 years recently passed away, making the move necessary.
After many hours of waiting patiently in the lobby of the nursing home, she smiled sweetly when told her room was ready. As she maneuvered her walker to the elevator, I provided a visual description of her tiny room, including the eyelet sheets that had been hung on her window. “I love it,” she stated with the enthusiasm of an eight-year-old having just been presented with a new puppy.
“Mrs. Jones, you haven’t seen the room …. just wait.”
“That doesn’t have anything to do with it,” she replied. “Happiness is something you decide on ahead of time. Whether I like my room or not doesn’t depend on how the furniture is arranged, it’s how I arrange my mind. I already decided to love it. It’s a decision I make every morning when I wake up. I have a choice;
I can spend the day in bed recounting the difficulty I have with the parts of my body that no longer work, or get out of bed and be thankful for the ones that do. Each day is a gift, and as long as my eyes open I’ll focus on the new day and all the happy memories I’ve stored away, just for this time in my life.”
She went on to explain, “Old age is like a bank account, you withdraw from what you’ve put in. So, my advice to you would be to deposit a lot of happiness in the bank account of memories Thank you for your part in filling my Memory bank. I am still depositing.”
And with a smile, she said: “Remember the five simple rules to be happy:
1. Free your heart from hatred.
2. Free your mind from worries.
3. Live simply.
4. Give more.
5. Expect less, & enjoy every moment.

In 2005 Kevin Berthia went to the Golden Gate Bridge to end his life.
He ended up talking about his life with Officer Kevin Briggs for 92 minutes while he was on the edge of the bridge.
10 years later they meet on the same bridge in much better circumstances.

Thank God it looks like 16-year-old Ralph Yarl will recover fully! ❤️ If you’d like to donate to a GoFundMe account that was organized by his aunt, Faith Spoonmore, you can find full details below.
Good morning y’all.
Ralph Yarl. A 16 year old Black baby boy was shot because he went to the wrong door (as he attempted to pick up his siblings). He was shot in the head and again as he bled out on the ground.
His shooter- a white man- is free.
So many things I can say but for now- just extreme sadness. Gratitude that he’s still alive. Also- I’m tired of this shit.
Black boys deserve to grow up.
Black men deserve to grow old.💔💔
Instead of voting on common sense gun safety laws that can save lives, GOP legislators in Tennessee are voting to expel elected officials for standing in solidarity with those pleading for action. A dark day for our democracy. https://t.co/QdcCY4yPbF
I know I'm supposed to tweet all day about today’s school shooting at The Covenant School in Nashville. With three kids and three adults shot and killed.
Just like I was supposed to write about the 11 other school shootings this year alone.
But f*ck it. I refuse.
We all know damn well who's to blame. You know it's the NRA. You know it's Republicans who are blocking sane gun reform.
At best, they ignore these murders. At worst, they LOVE them — because talk of gun reform will come up, and that INCREASES gun sales.
Either way, blood is on their hands. And the rest of us are filled with rage.
It's always the same. Every. Single. Time. And it must change.
WTF more is there to say?
My 12 year old Daughter after radiation treatment (week 1 of 6) for #BrainCancer Ashley was devastated to find out that her hair was going to fall out but continued to stay positive & strong throughout her battle. I wish I could’ve traded places w/ my Ashley.
