If you leave behind the human tragedy and just focus on the contest, how does the rule breaking and contestant bating bring unity to Eurovision? I see no contradiction in what I've stated.

@AlesiaMichelle Eurovision is more than The EBU and the decisions it makes imo. I don't think any of us consider ourselves fans of The EBU. We are fans of the music and the food that this contest brings, like unity, connection, enjoying other cultures etc
