Judging by the amount of Apollo merch that’s sold in the last two weeks without me even mentioning it, maybe I should be in the t-shirt biz instead of apps
So, if you want to pick some up, there’s a bunch of stuff available at https://t.co/N424krYNPt
It's a real shame that Reddit seems to care this little about the community that rather than making an effort to talk to developers and moderators and apologize for how this was handled, they'd rather just wall themselves off and and dare users to keep going.
@arielmichaeli@ChristianSelig I will go on a personal Reddit blackout too. From 12-14 no Reddit for me on any service. Will check on Apollo then how the blackout went.
@its2eu Curious: How would this hurt the 3rd party dev?
Apollo’s dev is supporting the subreddit blackouts.
Bottom line: don’t give Reddit any traffic - 3rd party or 1st (website).
Apollo is one of my absolute favorite Indie apps for iOS. The experience truly was what its developer promised: the most Apple-like experience of browsing Reddit.
This app was one of my inspirations to become an iOS dev. 💚
Salute to the king of 3rd party Reddit apps! 🫡
Apollo will close down on June 30th. Reddit’s recent decisions and actions have unfortunately made it impossible for Apollo to continue. Thank you so, so much for all the support over the years. ❤️ https://t.co/HOJaLMW8fx
Apple finally introduces Push Notification Console #WWDC23
People will no longer need my app Push Hero https://t.co/PWgbxvscoX
Glad @Apple agrees with me that "Send" button should have paperplane icon ✈️
I can imagine Devs choosing to supplement their laptops with a Vision Pro.
Get unlimited, resizable, virtual 4K monitors without having to wear your prescription glasses?
And without having to add more physical junk to your place?
I see the value now.
So, I tried Vision Pro, and no matter how good you think it is… it's better. Just astonishing immersion backed by mind-boggling audio fidelity, and the UI has been polished and polished until it's almost invisible. Zero friction; I was a confident user in minutes. #WWDC23
