📚: 2026 Summer Camp is in full swing at FACCES, and no two days look the same!

From watering plants, feeding fish, and harvesting fresh produce in our Urban Garden to hearing from inspiring guest speakers, our youth are learning something new every day.

✨: The rain didn't stop our shine while celebrating the class of 2026 graduates at our Summer Family Gathering!

We want to thank the community for showing up to honor the many accomplishments of one another, as we celebrated graduates from pre-school all the way to college!

📚: A huge thank you to @ColumbusGov for the 2026 Summer Youth Program Grant, this funding helps make the summer full of learning, exploration, and fun possible for the youth.

🍽️: The FACCES garden interns have been hard at work on our Urban Garden expansion project, while the marketing interns have been documenting every step of the way!

With guidance from the FACCES gardener, the youth has learned how to safely work with construction materials.

✨: We had a great time with all our FACCES families at the May family gathering!

Guest speaker Kye Mosley joined us to share insight with parents how communication can shape confidence.

🍽️: We had an amazing time hosting an event for the @COSI science festival with the support of @SWACOGreen !

Kids got hands-on creating things at different stations such as art projects from recycled materials and painting with watercolors made from plants in our greenhouse!

💪: We're still feeling the energy from the Move as One: Family Fitness Festival!

We went on a guided bird walk around the FACCES campus and even made DIY bird houses to take home!

Families and youth had a blast making their own potato wedges, baked fish, and tartar sauce completely from scratch!

🍽️: We kicked off March's Urban Gardener's Gathering with Growing and Growth Collective 🌱

During the event, GGC shared a "Gardening 102" presentation and afterwards, participants headed to the FACCES Urban Greenhouse to make their own grow kits to take home.

📚: Calling all teens! Join us every third Wednesday of the month for FACCES T.A.L.C. Series!

This is a teen-led space open to everyone and anyone 13-17 years old.
