@DiceAutism The leak is $30 a month for the Master Tier of the D&D Beyond subscription. There would still be a free version. Yes, it's bad, and we should say it's bad, but saying it's $30 a month to play the game might encourage some panic.

@NevernotDM A pdf of a book is not the same as all of the work that goes into coding features into a character sheet utility that has direct functionality with a Discord bot. You're insinuating that the people who do all that work should do it for free.

@rderekp They used their real names in the show (Sarenrae, Bahamut, etc.) and it was a mixture of Pathfinder, Faerun, Greyhawk, etc. deities.

@ApplewhiteGames @Wizards_DnD D&D Beyond is providing a different product. The tools usable for character creation and the books in am easily navigable digital format. It's not like it's just 'access to the book online'. D&D Beyond does a lot of work as well, and this insists they do that work for free.

@DiceFix Most of my D&D play occurs in a play-by-post format on Discord. I have very small children and I don't have the free time necessary to play in-person D&D. It's just as real as live D&D and I honestly feel that, if you really like the RP aspect, it can even be better.
