🇦🇷 Argentine newspaper Clarin: 'As never before, the Argentine team displayed, both on and off the field, a range of values that are rare these days. From the pitch and beyond, they gave several lessons and showed the face of a country that we would like to see away from the football pitch.
'A team that was polite and respectful, despite a few unfortunate isolated incidents in the last match; that didn't speak ill of its rivals or try to justify its own mistakes by blaming others.'
It does not surprise me that the entire pre-match show and fanfare is an embarrassment, honestly, they just ruin everything in that country, don't they?
Such a privilege following this nation for the group stage of this tournament. The World Cup will always be special, despite the best efforts of FIFA and the U.S.A., looking forward to 2030 and all the trips (and Euro 2028) along the way 🏴
Whether you were in Dallas, Boston, New York, Atlanta, Mexico City, Miami or back home, you played an incredible role in our @FIFAWorldCup journey.
THANK YOU! 👏❤️🏴
🤖 Mason Greenwood: “I learned a lot of things from Cristiano Ronaldo, really”.
“He has total attention to every little detail. He works 100%, he's incredibly focused on football, and that's why he's one of the best players in the world”.
“He's still performing at such a high level at his age because he pays attention to every little detail”.
Hmmm. I wonder if the FA are regretting that contract extension given prematurely. The pressure he will be under to deliver at the Euros will be even more intense. He has a lot to reflect on after his mistakes last night.
🚨🏴 The FA plans to continue with Thomas Tuchel as England head coach for next Euros.
No changes after defeat vs Argentina as the intention is to continue together.

That loss is 100% on Tuchel. You cannot sit back and hope to defend for 40 minutes against a team that will get every 50/50 decision go their way. Again, the substitutions have backed us into a corner and this time we were up against a team with proper world cup knowhow. Poor.
Harry Kane has accused ITV and other World Cup broadcasters of trying to create division in the England squad as he dismissed the notion of a rift
“When you are playing a game like that and to be asked a question five minutes after the final whistle, and he [Bellingham] didn’t really know what the manager has said, what do you want Jude to say?
“It is easy to try and create this division – it seems like an English mentality, an English thing to do at these major tournaments."
