@Jared_Carrabis Part of my point was that the two pieces that were most touted coming into the season and for which Breslow was receiving the most credit—Crochet and Roman—weren’t even active for the July turnaround
@Jared_Carrabis This feels like a take solely based on the WC spot. The team went on an unprecedented run while missing a few of Breslow’s key pieces. That’s more due to the players and the manager. I think we’ll have more drama and misguided calls from Breslow in the future. It’s in his DNA.
@liv2cod@Kagan_M_Dunlap Uh, there’s been a bunch of mass shootings in Texas, buddy. Unfortunately, they lasted way too long despite the unrealistic boastings of folks like you.
@DerekJanuary22@Billdo2728@Bastards_Boston “Massive lineup flexibility at the DH spot” is quite a spin on platooning the DH because we don’t have a reliable man for the full time job anymore
@hornets@nyknicks@FDSN_Hornets@wfnz Security/entry line is a mess. Probably worst organization I’ve ever seen from a pro sports team. And they’ll wonder why no one is in the seats at tip
@TumblingGoose@wxbrad Any further word from Connestee? My in-laws are there and we haven’t been able to get in touch. Doesn’t seem like there are enough roads open to let me get out that way.
@MichaelH_PhD@helenlewis@CoreyBrickley@AlanRMacLeod I haven’t read the article either (paywall), so should state that openly. But so you’re describing efficiency, not just mere productivity (at least how I would put it). And yes, I said I’m seeing more input and more output in my world, but not necessarily at a lesser rate.
@marinastrez @BigGayDemons @prestonmajor @msolurin @RNelsonJ Yeah, that was my point. Calls to abolish police as they operate today have some validity, but we need a plan to address necessary public safety/law enforcement functions and deal with crime. That said, my comment was addressing the response, not the merits of the movement.
