What bothers me about TABM2 and likely 3 is how there was such cool storylines from the classic universe to base the film off of, but NOOO! they just had to turn Silver in to Red's love interest and ignore everything about the OG games. #TheAngryBirdsMovie

I genuinely mean it when I say that the climactic battle in the angry birds movie is so damn fantastic. High tensions, fast paced (in a good way), explosions and of course fun as hell. I love rewatching it

Don’t get me wrong the first movie does have some flaws but I feel like this movie had the right elements for an Angry Birds movie but it just needed some improvements but sadly it’s sequel didn’t get to do that and by looks of the third movie it doesn’t seem like it will go back to its roots but who knows because the third movie isn’t out yet.

rewatching the 2 angry birds movies made me realise how terrible the second one was in comparison to the first one all because it wasnt made in house by rovio like the first movie 😭
the third one is definitely going to be alot worse, especially since its paramount doing it now

I believe what brought the Angry Birds Movie the success it had was the fact that it was actually based on the original game. It brought characters that people knew, and added a few extra ones without taking away screen time from the ones from the games. (1/?)

reason's very simple actually, the first movie was entirely made in house by rovio's animation branch, which is formed by people who actually understand the franchise and characters they're working with, whereas the second movie is made entirely by sony with little input (1/?)

Hot Take: I think that the second Angry Birds movie would’ve been better if they had kept Ross instead of Courtney, and replaced Garry with Professor Pig. It would’ve been iconic in a sense.
