@EASFCDirect all I’ve ever wanted it a proper in depth career mode. Surely you iterate & improve, and can add a few new features each year! It’s 2026 & the state of football games is laughable. Someone needs to make a balanced career/master league focused game & it will sell!
@433FutbolFan@EASPORTSFC Exactly! Fix bugs & add new features to core modes eg Career mode! Not remove stuff & just update transfers - It’s reworked, not a new feature! Instead you spent resources on this! Fine is you want this, but add more resources, new features to the other modes at the same time.
@WilsdorfAndreas Thanks Andreas. Just wondering do you have stats about player base; how many people are career players? It’s the only mode I play, I know lots of other people who are the same but it always seems to us career mode isn’t a core focus of EA (but I know you are doing your best).
@CMG_LFC82@EASFCDirect All for his aim, but removing training plans is an example of removing depth. It should remain & be evolved/replaced with more in-depth system. Dev plans & training should be combined, along with staff - which also link to budget controls. Most of which have also been removed.
@CMG_LFC82 Interesting discussion, I’d argue it’s an evolution. We’ve had Dynamic Potential, Development Plans & game-time-based progression for years. Dynamic Overall builds on those systems, not a brand-new concept. EA often evolves one system while removing depth elsewhere. @EASFCDirect
@WilsdorfAndreas@Wilsharma Thanks. Thats good to know. From a consumer point of view I’d rather have features remain until the new version is ready to replace them. This year training has been removed, last year objectives dumbed down. It’s just removing things that did add a manager feel/depth.
@WilsdorfAndreas@Wilsharma All that I ask is why remove so many things over the years? The mode would be much richer if those things had remained and improved on each year. So much depth has been lost. The frustrating thing is it’s so bare there is literally nothing to manage; no budgets, staff, objectives
@EAFCconcepts@KaydenF48@EASFCDirect Mine is not hatred it’s frustration. We are currently stuck in a cycle where EA remove or update features. Objectives essentially watered down in fc26. No sponsors, or controls over budgets - removed in previous versions. An updated transfer system is good but it’s not enough.
@KaydenF48@EAFCconcepts Ah ok thanks. So it is still essentially an update. It’s sad that @EASFCDirect market these updates as new features though. There’s so much potential to do so much more. The state of football games overall are so far behind other genres.
@PureContender Brilliant to hear! I wish you the best. I’m sure there’s loads of people who are happy to discuss ideas/feedback and contribute. Always keep true to your vision though. 💪. I’ve always thought if there was a more detail master league/career mode it would be hugely successful.
@CallMeAliToo@FGZNews Plus removed things like coaches impact - it must interfere with dynamic OVR. So lacking in any depth of feature that would make career mode good & what players have been asking for for years! Finance/ticket control/Spend budget on training facilities to impact development etc
@EASPORTSFC@transferroom “Negotiations can only begin once permission is granted, with disc….. If you'd rather focus on other areas of club management, you can also delegate” - You literally don’t have anything else to manage! That’s the issue! Career mode is bare again! Poor @EASFCDirect
@EAFCconcepts@EASFCDirect That is true, also we do technically have a create club. I wish they would actually focus on manager career for once. The stuff highlighted, & things over the last few years are just small updates. They’ve removed so much. If they truly wanted to they could deliver so much more
