People seem to be purposefully choosing to ignore what people mean when they bring up issues they have with the tone of the current films in the franchise. They just dismiss it or make some false comparisons that misses the point of what the person is saying entirely, and it makes talking about the current state of Evil Dead VERY difficult and often super annoying.
