@cineworld And give Paddington Bear hard stares to the people who have popcorn at Cineworld because you serve it in the noisiest paper bags known to man!
@M6tollRoad I see these smug messages have started up again. I didn't see any yesterday saying "you could have wasted hours sitting stationary on the M6 Toll on 14/09/2025β though...
@daftpunk Saw this at Showcase Derby & while it was good the sound was far too quiet. Warwick Student Cinema in Coventry runs films at the proper volume level but as this was "1 night only" it's impossible to book it. Wish an exception could be made so I could see it how it should be seen!
@fesshole I had BritBox where they had all of classic Dr Who, Space Cops, and lots more classic TV. Then BritBox shut and moved to ITVX. Then Dr Who disappeared, and Space Cops wasn't there any more. If you own shows on DVD then other than technical failure, you can watch them forever.
@cineworld@tomhaywood18@IMAX Would have possibly watched Dune 2 today having travelled to Sheffield for The Wild Robot and Wicked... But they're not showing it here tonight π₯
@M6tollRoad Breeze customers flow through the toll lanes more freely and you keep hold of our money so you know we can pay for going through but we don't get any real discount... There should be 50% discount off the standard Class 2 toll!
Interesting that @BBCBlindGazza is cautioning someone he's interviewing when they describe the secret service blowing a gunman's head off, not 20 minutes after he dropped the f-bomb on BBC News!
@thisismattcrabb It's a bit of a shame that Hits has reduced the local-ness of local commercial radio, though at least they're not as bad as Heart or Capital in that regard. It's so much more difficult for local talent to get a foot in the door now!
@Peston I watched the Central News special on this last night, followed by the main 6.30 ITV News and I was not emotionally prepared for it. I was crying for quite some time during those programmes.
@thetrainline Booking any train on any of the train operating companies' apps, using your booking engine, but not paying a booking fee. Just as easy and cheaper.
@KeiziTV If I didn't have a Limitless cinema pass that cost me less than Β£150 for a year, I don't think I would watch half as much at the cinema as I do. The local "good* Odeon cinema now charges Β£18 per seat so watching a film with a friend is an expensive prospect!
@TGIFridaysUK how are we supposed to know that the restaurant we have booked for doesn't participate in the set menu deal on a Sunday? There's no exclusion mentioned in the offer Ts & C's to make it clear... Please do better!
So @BritBoxHelpUK closes on 30th April and I'm being told to move to @ITVX - it's just a shame that ITVX is a load of crap with a terrible layout, terrible reliability, and terrible overall user experience. I won't be renewing.
