I just can’t quit on this Mariners team.

My 2nd ranked team in March is currently out of a playoff spot, but I keep buying in.

Julio, Canzone, Raley, Crawford, Raleigh all at least 0.014 behind in wOBA (relative to xwOBA).

Pitching is 4th in FIP as a team too.

Tampa Bay Rays in 2026:

5th in wRC+
28th in xwOBA

6th in ERA
13th in FIP

2nd in DRS

Their defense and ballpark could be reasons they’re outperforming their FIP.

I can’t see how they keep outperforming their xwOBA like this, especially playing in the Trop.
