🚨 JUST IN: A Qatar-based group led by Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani, which failed in its previous bid to buy Manchester United, has not been approached amid fresh rumours that some members of the Glazer family are considering selling their stake in the club after 21 years of ownership.
Even if contact were made, the group is highly unlikely to revive its interest, remaining scarred by the 2023 experience when it offered around £5bn for full control only for the Glazers to instead sell a 25% stake to Sir Jim Ratcliffe for £1.3bn.
The Qataris currently have no intention of returning to the table, despite a ‘drag along’ clause that could enable a full sale, as United under Ratcliffe’s operational control have improved financially with operating profits and a return to the Champions League, while exploring stadium options.

@markgoldbridge he is not worth it, he is over priced and over valued for a player that couldn't even make it to the world cup squad of his national team 🫸
