@DarrelFrater Hello, at Entomo Farm Zambia, we turn waste into a sustainable, organic and inexpensive livestock feed and fertilizer for small and medium scale aquaculture and poultry farmers by farming insects. We are looking to develop our own IP around climate controlled breeding systems.
A Finnish magazine, @Kehityslehti , has published a photo collage of the work life in Zambia πΈ

Our layers love their #BSFLarvae which provideπ₯Egg-cellent Results π : Studies show that chickens fed with BSF larvae produce eggs with higher nutritional value, including protein, omega-3 fatty acids & vitamin content & help reduce food waste in the environment

Agriculture has the potential to protect biodiversity, but right now it's a leading driver of its decline.
To nourish the planet and achieve #ZeroHunger, this must change. Agrobiodiversity is the key to getting there π± π₯π

At Entomo Farm, in order to help reduce waste & GHG emissions, we use rotting tomatoes and other fruits & veg as part of the #larvae diet. This way we are reducing #waste, reusing leftover food & #recycling; & doing our part in creating a sustainable #circulareconomy economy.
There is inadequate knowledge & potential for #valueaddition in the Zambian agricultural industry, it needs more support such as Government implementation & training of the #farmers & #processors.
