OluwaSadiq (@MayorofLondon) is off to Lagos, Accra, Joburg & Cape Town 🇳🇬 🇬🇭 🇿🇦 — the first ever mayoral trade mission to Africa.
In a city shaped by its African diaspora, deepening ties with the continent matters.
Shoutout to @theflygerians for the perfect send-off 👏🏾
Excited to soon be leading the first mayoral trade mission to Africa, visiting Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa - to deepen cultural ties, boost trade and bang the drum for London.
Great to kick things off at @TheFlygerians ⬇️
Londoners of African heritage help make our city the best. Soon I’ll be leading the first mayoral trade mission to Africa, visiting Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa—to deepen cultural ties, boost trade and bang the drum for London.
Great to kick things off at @TheFlygerians.
The Mayor of London, Sir Yaw Sadiq Khan ( @sadiq ), is officially coming to Ghana 🇬🇭! After announcing his intentions last year at the @gubaawards, it’s now confirmed he’ll be visiting Nigeria, Ghana, and South Africa this month to strengthen cultural ties and boost trade between London and Africa.
He made the announcement at @theflygerians in Peckham while helping prepare some delicious puff puff 🇳🇬 a real celebration of African culture in the heart of London.
We’re excited to welcome him and look forward to deepening connections across the diaspora through this historic trade mission. 🌍🤝 #GUBA #DiasporaConnect #AfricaLondonLink #SadiqInAfrica

Lots of laughter visiting @TheFlygerians at the Peckham Palms with @MayorofLondon. I'm so proud of the African diaspora’s contribution to our city. Ahead of the Mayor’s trip, this was a brilliant opportunity to showcase how Black businesses & culture are thriving here in London.
