@neilsonandrew You are absolutely not the only one Andrew. An expert’s duty is to the court. It is disgraceful that such an expert would abuse the trust of the court and the child they had assessed by giving interviews to the press. It is fuelling the media frenzy and is deeply unethical.

When dreadful crimes are in the news, some criminologists show an unsavoury enthusiasm to go on TV / tell the newspapers all about it - despite knowing nothing more than they have picked up from other mass media. This has a meretricious look. Think hard before doing this.
