@tomieinlove Interesting analogy, but the Trinity isn’t like water, ice, and steam because those are simply different states of the same substance. That reduces God to one entity changing forms, rather than three distinct Persons who exist simultaneously, each fully God for eternity.

@FatherChrisVor1 Actually they were. Those groups didn’t split apart until the differences of the Holy Trinity around 1100-1200 (officially at least). So yes, there was one collective Holy Apostolic Catholic Church where Rome had primacy of which the remains were protected and cherished.
