Eldest got a place at @lborouniversity 2 1/2 weeks ago. But as it was her insurance choice she still has no accommodation offer and may not get one. It seems the uni place clearing students first, cash flow over student happiness seems like a 💩 call. Crap first impression.

@jesswade @ExRdFestival For a large linear polarising filter, you can remove the one from the front of an old flat screen. Had a student remove two and build a frame with cross polarising filters to do photo elastic stress analysis at the end of Y13 when exams were cancelled.
