they’re gonna “immunity debt” people, including children, to death. literally.
people’s immune systems aren’t weaker because they wore masks and stayed home for a few weeks.
they’re weaker because they contracted an infectious vascular disease.
It’s still killing and disabling a ton of people. It hasn’t ended. Over 7 million people have died in the past four years. What kind of “cold” has ever done that? We need distribution of respirators and clean air in all public buildings!!
I remember how shook I was when I learned we only have age of consent laws bc mothers in the late 1800s fought for them… the men didn’t want those laws but it was the first time in the American government that women were so actively involved in politics/the law…
my friend just made fun of me because i went nonverbal at red robin. anyone else experience this blatant ableism on a regular basis? #autistic#audhd#selfdiagnosisisvalid
People forget that nobody is immune to disability. Anyone can become part of the disability community at any time, especially during this pandemic. Including us can possibly give you inclusion in the future.
Hey, so you do think a bunch of babies & toddlers born with up to 30% reduced lung volume might be an issue wrt future pneumonia? 🤬

A doctor asks how your social life is. This is a really obvious mental health trap. The answer is always vibrant and fulfilling. Recall an event with an ex-deep friend but make it recent, it will be more authentic and contain detail. Fail and it's an anxiety diagnosis.
absolutely ridiculous that they aren’t letting people complete their civic duty. this is erasure of the covid conscious- they are not allowing us in decision making spaces. don’t get me started on the problematic implications of this….
friendly reminder that tipping culture is problematic because some people can barely afford to eat as is. food is a RIGHT, not a luxury. is tipping more important than making sure families are fed ?
absolutely ridiculous that this is the case when agoraphobia, COVID consciousness, and disability exists. don’t even get me started on the requirement of tipping lately. totally classist and ableist
amazing that your family would let you do that, my family only wears baggy blues when required and they always want to question my masking… my worry is they’ll realize how wrong they are, far too late
I visited my family today. I told them in advance that I’d be masked up while I’m there + I’ll take my food to go.
When they weren’t eating, they all wore masks. Didn’t think twice.
It made me cry to be so warmly accommodated like that.
I feel immensely loved.
Today was great.
how the absolute fuck are people STILL buying this “immunity debt” shit? when was the last time they saw majority of people wearing masks in public?
like holy shit
When all covid protective measures are in place, I can basically forget about it. There's comfort that comes from preparation and being in community with like-minded friends & family. A completely different vibe than an event where you feel like you have to dodge covid all night.
