Last night the TULA Arts Festival kicked off with the Drama Showcase which featured performances from our Junior and Senior Performance groups. Live entertainment, light snacks, beer, wine and other drinks available in our
Tula Garden until 7 until Saturday night.
Last week Year 10 students camped at Emu Gully, an outdoor education
centre that is run with an ANZAC theme. “Mateship” was the goal of the
Year 10 camp. This was achieved through a series of challenging
activities that inspired our students to think of others first, ALWAYS.
The Gap State High School welcomed Grandparents and special guests of Year 7 students to the school for morning tea. Grandparents Day gives the school a unique opportunity to host, entertain and thank the grandparents of the Year 7 cohort for their contribution to the community.
Congratulations to the Open Girls who today took out the Metro
Volleyball Final against Woodcrest State College. Well done to Hayley, Jasmine, Brighid, Reese, Elenoa, Annalies, Sophie, Nita and Amy. Many thanks to Mr Maclean for coaching the girls.
Year 8 students today who had 95% attendance or higher this term were
rewarded with an afternoon out at Playtime Chermside. We booked out
Playtime and the students could play as much and as many games as they
wanted in one hour.
