@LowBoomLowDrift@SeanFeldman5 All the data we collected with water sensitive paper the best was with a ground rig at 40% coverage at 15 GPA. Airplane at 2 GPA was similar in fungicides ~30-35%. Drones were the worst at ~12% coverage.
@LowBoomLowDrift@SeanFeldman5 Well, there are many published studies on spray deposition. But imagine if you are spraying small weeds, you are mostly spraying dirt. If youโre spraying larger weeds, you are only hitting the top leaves and not the shorter weeds covered by larger weeds.
@LowBoomLowDrift@SeanFeldman5 Pile theory. The idea is the larger the droplet, the more active. You only need that 1 droplet to penetrate the leaf surface. If you have 10 droplets of 1/10th the size, there is a chance that not all of them break through the cuticle, so theoretically less chemical entering.
@cowbroker Simple answer is yes, higher transaction merchants can negotiate lower transaction fees, but it is not 0. I think some Big biz also accounts for the processing fee in the price where small businesses surcharge or just donโt accept high % cards like American Express
@_TheMizzouTiger The 2022 study referenced used paraquat as a preharvest desiccant in wheat which is banned in the US. Not to mention, the trials were done in fields with sandy/sandy loam soil types. It is a very dangerous chemical, but not one that will kill you from bioaccumulation in the soil.
@bigaljack They are boost boxes. They are used for variable rate or pulse width modulation to jump up the current. Do you need it? Depending on what the Deere controller is doing, you probably wonโt need them.
