Eventually, the storm runs out of rain. You'll get the chance to rebuild after the negative loops, the setbacks & nights spent wondering if things would ever change. When that opportunity arrives, honor it. Don't return to what nearly destroyed you simply because it's familiar.
A gift is what you carry.
A calling is what carries you.
When the two finally meet, work becomes service, effort becomes devotion, and life begins to feel like home.
You should think very highly of yourself. Not out of ego, but because of growth. You know what it took for you to become you: The battles nobody saw. The sacrifices nobody applauded. Growth deserves recognition. Respect your resilience. Honor your journey. Know your value.
I find it challenging to engage with people who have adopted religious beliefs that, in my view, are disconnected from their own cultural and ancestral traditions. At times, these differences in worldview can make meaningful dialogue difficult, particularly when discussions touch on identity, spirituality, history and self-determination.
If you find yourself at a place when you’ve been stripped of everything and find yourself at nothing do not despair. This is familiar ground. You’ve been here before.
This is not the end. This is a reintroduction to your deepest strength.
Many times we think so loud that the soul can’t get a word in.
The lesson is not to stop thinking but to make enough quiet within yourself to hear what your soul has been waiting to say.
